I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your beloved Jinx. It sounds like you gave him a wonderful home and a wonderful life following a tough beginning. I hope you find comfort in those happy memories. (And that pumpkin bread looks delicious and comforting as well!)

Will be making this recipe to share in memory and honor of Jinx. I hope I do it justice. Deepest sympathies!

I'm sorry, Ruth. I know how incessantly cats insist on getting their way. (I have mine on a diet, and my stomach is in a knot just writing about it.) They seem not to suffer from fear or foresight.

So sad but glad you at least have all those photos to remember him during his time with you

I had an orange tabby like Jinx and she talked all the time too especially to the birds who sat in a tree outside her favorite window. I don't bake but she was a big fan of Sunday morning's fresh bagels and lox. I think of her to this day and am grateful to have had her in my life. ❤ to you and Jeff.

I love reading about Jinx's antics. What a fantastic personality. I was so sad for you guys to hear about his untimely passing. Way too short a life. I bet you miss him like crazy. And thank you, we will enjoy this delicious recipe! I will bake it with my 11-year old daughter. By which I mean, she will bake it and I will delight in eating it!

So sorry to hear about Jinx; no matter how long we own an animal, it's heartbreaking when they cross the rainbow bridge.
