I heard from Rabbi Mark Hyman, emeritus rabbi of Congregation Tikvat Jacob Beth Torah in Manhattan Beach, that he had found a pretty good rye in Los Angeles at Schwartz’s Bakery, Glatt Mart, some Ralphs markets, the Pico Kosher Deli, and Labels Table Deli. If anyone has other recommendations, please add them to the comments section of this post.
